Sour Gummy Bears (Top Shelf)

Top Shelf in cannabis retail refers to the highest-quality products in the selection — typically using premium-grade extract (live resin, live rosin, or high-quality distillate) rather than standard distillate, with greater attention to terpene preservation and testing standards. Top Shelf Sour Gummy Bears use a higher-grade cannabis extract than standard gummy bears at the same dose, producing a richer, more complex effect profile and typically better flavour from the higher-quality extract base.

Check the current product label for the specific THC milligram content per piece. Top Shelf cannabis gummies in the higher-potency market typically range from 20mg to 100mg THC per piece — significantly above the 5–10mg recreational starting dose. Start with a fraction of one bear regardless of your cannabis experience if you are unfamiliar with this specific product, and wait the full 90-minute edible onset window before assessing the effect.

The gummy bear format allows easy dose division — you can bite a bear in half for half the dose, or even quarter it for very conservative dosing. This flexibility makes gummy bears more dose-adjustable than sealed capsules or chocolate squares at thinner division points. The key is to cut or bite carefully and consistently to get a reliably even dose fraction.
