Sweet Tooth

Barney's Farm bred Sweet Tooth from a three-way landrace cross — Afghan (heavy indica resin and sedation), Hawaiian (tropical-sweet aromatic and uplift), and Nepali (additional landrace depth) — that produced an unusually sweet, candy-like aromatic profile without sacrificing indica potency. The 2001 Cannabis Cup judges recognised Sweet Tooth for its exceptional balance of dessert-sweet accessibility and reliable indica effect quality — characteristics that distinguished it from the heavier, earthier indicas that dominated that era.

No — Sweet Tooth's 13–17% THC is accessible and appropriate for its gentle-to-moderate indica effects. The specific landrace terpene entourage from Afghan-Hawaiian-Nepali genetics produces reliably pleasant effects at this THC range that many consumers find more enjoyable than higher-THC alternatives with less sophisticated terpene profiles. Sweet Tooth is ideal for new cannabis consumers, low-tolerance users, and experienced consumers who want a gentle everyday indica for social and leisure use.

True to its name, Sweet Tooth produces one of the sweetest, most candy-like cannabis flavours available — intensely sugary with tropical fruit and floral notes from the Hawaiian and Nepali genetics. The Afghan component adds mild earthiness that prevents the sweetness from being one-dimensional. Many consumers describe it as tasting like cotton candy or sweet tropical fruit — more candy-sweet than most cannabis strains achieve.
